Tyvek is a brand of flashspun high-density polyethylene fibers, a synthetic material; the name is a registered trademark of the DuPont company, known for their production of chemicals and textiles. Tyvek is often used as housewrap, a synthetic material used to protect buildings during construction, or as personal protective equipment.
TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane) is any of a class of polyurethane plastics with many properties, including transparency, and resistance to oil, grease, and abrasion. Technically, they are thermoplastic elastomers consisting of linear segmented block copolymers composed of hard and soft segments.
When Tyvek composites with TPU, it becomes highly resistant to rips, and a fully waterproof harmless material. Apply for many eco products in indoor and outdoor fields.
